PLR Magic – How Can You Use PLR?

I receive questions about PLR every week – writers want to know how they can use it. But what’s PLR??

PLR is white label, generic content you write which is meant to be re-purposed. PLR may come in the form of text (articles, reports, ebooks, autoresponder sequences), but it also includes other material that’s created for re-use and user-branding – videos, images, software, Web site and blog templates… just about anything you see online could be created by someone as a PLR offering.

As a writer, you can both create PLR for others, and buy it yourself to use.

Although I haven’t created any PLR content for others in a while because I’m too busy, I continue to buy it, because it’s a way of getting Web sites up and running quickly. Once a particular site is online, PLR helps to get the site growing, with minimal cost.

For example, a couple of months ago I created a site on Tarot, which is one of my hobbies. I use Tarot for creativity (I’m not into the fortune telling aspect), because Tarot helps me to focus, and to tap into my creative right brain.

The Tarot niche is quite lucrative, and over time I’ll build the site up, and then I may decide to sell the site… or not. Although I have lots of material I’ve written about Tarot, I’m adding some PLR content into the mix to build the site up – I’m aiming for around 500 pages – and I want to create those pages quickly. The more content the site has, the more in*come.

In addition to building up Web sites, you can use the PLR you buy as the basis of reports, ebooks, tutorials and guides.
