Article Magic: profit from Web articles

Hi fellow writer – welcome to this week’s issue, in which we discuss “article magic”, otherwise known as “article marketing”. I’ve always thought of article marketing as magic, because nothing else is as powerful in building your writing career and business.

When you become an expert article marketer, not only can you use these skills to get writing clients, you can also use the skills on your clients’ behalf, increasing their sales and income.

What’s article marketing?

“Article marketing” means using articles as advertising – as promotional tools. This is the primary way in which I, and many other Web writers and marketers, use articles. We use articles to get results.

In 2009, I’m still getting enquiries and making sales from articles I wrote way back in 2000. This is an amazing return on investment. For half an hour or so of time, I build my business (and clients’ businesses) an article at a time.
