I love Alison Weir’s books. She has two novels out about Elizabeth and Lady Jane Grey, which I have not yet read, but I have devoured her nonfiction books on English history.

Stuart is my name and I recently completed a Freelance Journalism course – which I found immensely satisfying. Now being in my forties I’m hoping to make writing my new career.

I currently have a book being published with iUniverse. The book is about my life wuth epilepsy, from tracing a diagnosis to seizure surgery and beyond.

Well, you’ve got a well known name. I recognize YOU! Although my problem recently, I recognize a lot of the players in the freelance writing game, but I keep forgetting WHERE or HOW I “know” them. For example, “so and so” reviewed my website, and “so and so” did a guest blog for me. YIKES! Have tos tart taking notes around here.

I must be dense, but why would they offer the entire book for free, even for a month? And was this arrangement spelled out in the authors’ contracts and agreed to? Were the authors compensated for loss of sales? This does stir up a lot of questions!

Oh, if only the writing habit had hold of me like my chocolate habit! What you said, though, is so very true. The more you write, the better you write. I hope that people wanting to write more will take your class. Good habits–with writing as with anything else–are critical to our success.
